The city

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will be held between December 8 and 12, 2021, a meeting place for musicians and cultural programmers. The Miller Building in Santa Catalina, will witness the first edition of LPA Music Market, an initiative promoted by the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria within the LPA Music project, which includes the celebration of concerts, talks, workshops, conferences and, above all, professional meetings.

The development of LPA Music is structured in perfectly defined and highly dynamic work areas. On the one hand, there will be more than twenty showcases starring artists selected after registration. Artists from the islands from different musical styles will be featured on the stage of the hall, with a capacity for 500 people.

On the other hand, the organization will set up a space for holding quick meetings between musicians and promoters, Speed Meetings, of no more than 10 minutes, and a work area, with tables for informal meetings, rest areas, in which restoration points will be set up, and a program of conferences and talks will also be developed for both promoters and musicians.

In addition to the selected musical projects, Lpa music will bring the most important programmers for music venues and public scenic spaces of the eight islands, we are talking about: those responsible for the Culture area of the seven councils, councilors and coordinators of the municipalities that have a stable program throughout the year and directors of the main festivals in the Canary Islands, promoters, owners of private venues and artist representation offices. These local participants will be joined by national and international programmers, who will attend LPA Music to discover the Canarian musical proposals that can complete their programming in important festivals and venues in Spain and the rest of Europe.
