Welcome to the website of LPA Music, a project promoted by the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to help and support the music sector of the islands. LPA Music is made up of various promoters that bring artists and the Canarian music industry closer together and offer tools that help the local industry to be competitive in the professional market.
Among the programmes developed by LPA Music, the following stand out:
LPA Music Market is an event focused on the internationalization of music made in the Canary Islands.
Artists from the islands meet in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with programmers from various national and international venues and festivals who come to learn about the different proposals to complete their programs.
It is also a meeting point with programmers from different islands, thus positioning itself as the first regional music market, which will help the artists present to make themselves known to local promoters.
During three days, around thirty professionals from the music industry, including managers, programmers, journalists, lawyers, rights managers, marketing specialists and institutions will hold a series of meetings with local artists, where they will discuss issues for those who are starting their professional project or who want to take their career to the next level.
LPA Music Sounds is a program from the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria that brings external promotion to its artists and agencies.
Presence in the international market is essential for any artist who intends to participate in events and venues in other countries. With this idea, we will be present in some of the most important music markets in the world, by presenting our artists and agencies under the same umbrella.
Agreements will also be sought with agents from the national and international music sector, creating networks, contacts and collaborations with entities committed to promoting music and its creators.
All these actions are supported by the other LPA Music programs, creating an environment of tools for the professional growth of the city's music sector.
